Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe region is one of the best-known coffee-growing areas in the world, renowned for its superlative coffee craftsmanship, and extraordinary terroir. Here, within the Gedeb woreda, the small community of Gotiti is home to many visionary smallholder farmers, most working an area of two hectares or smaller. This coffee comes from small farms located in a micro-region at roughly 1,800 meters above sea level. The indigenous varieties that grow here create the perfect environment for smaller, tastier coffee beans with distinct, elegant, and floral profiles.
