Cooperative Santuario was founded by Gonzalo + Ismael Alacon Mirez in 2017. The Cooperative’s mission is to get the best possible prices for their members while always striving to improve quality. Santuario’s enhancing coffee quality by planting the best tasting varieties, improving soil fertility, and implementing organic agricultural practices. Santuario is navigating the effects of climate change in the region and focusing on long-term sustainability for their 360 smallholder farmer members and their crops.
