We’ve teamed up with a San Francisco classic.
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA — Linea Caffe is proud to announce a partnership with La Boulangerie de San Francisco, a six-shop and growing chain of French bakeries throughout the Bay Area. Linea, based in the Mission District, will be the exclusive provider of espresso, drip, and decaffeinated coffees for La Boulangerie.
Founded in 1995 by baker Pascal Rigo as La Boulange, and eventually acquired by Starbucks, the longtime bakery reopened in 2015 under the name La Boulangerie de San Francisco. Returning to Bay Area artisan roots, the company enlisted Linea Cafe to be its coffee partner.
The most recent project from esteemed coffee roaster Andrew Barnett (formerly of Ecco Caffe, Intelligentsia, and Centro), Linea Caffe opened in 2013 on 18th street just steps from Mission Street. The boutique roaster focuses on sweetness-forward, award-winning coffees, Linea Caffe shares many of La Boulangerie de San Francisco’s core values of hospitality, environmental responsibility, and of course—great taste. Linea Caffe has been named one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best 11 Indie Coffee Shops in America and a Thrillist Best New Coffee Roaster.
Linea Caffe will be specially roasting lots of Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza Bob-O-Link coffee from the Mountain Mogiana Region of Brazil, to be prepared at La Boulangerie de San Francisco locations as either filter or espresso coffees. A 100% chemical free Swiss Water Process decaffeinated coffee offering from Linea will also be available.
La Boulangerie de San Francisco will be introducing the new Linea Caffe selections at their Sutter Street, Cole Street, Pine Street, Hayes Valley, Union Street, and Noe Valley locations throughout late June and early July. The shops will be joined later this year by new locations in the Mission, Montgomery Street, and in Oakland.
